Project Scope
Conversion of aframax tankers into Modular Capture Vessels (MCV), equipped with dynamic positioning and controllable pitch propulsion, to operate as lightering vessels in the Gulf of Mexico under normal circumstances and to deploy without hot works as MCVs in case of subsea oil well blow-out in any of the oilfields owned by the MWCC members.
