Completion of scope in MCV Project

Deva MS successfully completed its job scope for AET Shipmanagement (Singapore) Pte Ltd in the MCV Project constituting modifications of the vessels Eagle Texas and Eagle Louisiana. The modification works were carried out in Dry Docks World, Dubai.

Deva MS was involved from May 2011 until August 2012 starting with finalization of project’s engineering definition, managing engineering contractor, developing and tendering shipyard scope of work, selection of shipyard for conversion, procurement of all long lead items, execution of construction until the successful completion of dry docking and setting up the commissioning system and procedures for the project.

The Deva MS team ensured that all the major and long lead equipment were ordered and delivered on site in time to meet the project construction schedule. The dry docking of Eagle Texas and Eagle Louisiana were successfully completed with installation of controllable pitch propeller, four azimuth thrusters and one tunnel thruster.

The project achieved and celebrated a major milestone on completion LTI (Lost Time Injury) free one million man hours.
